Murals

Murals are one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted works of art, painted directly onto walls. They have the power to transform spaces, whether it’s brightening a child’s bedroom, revitalizing neglected areas of a school or community center, or effectively conveying the values of a business.
With over five years of professional experience in creating both interior and exterior murals, I have worked in a variety of styles, including cartoon, expressive, realistic, corporate, and text-based signage, all using high-quality acrylic paint or spray-paint. I take great pride in breathing new life into forgotten spaces, creating stunning, bespoke artworks designed to endure and inspire for years to come.

Commissioning A Mural
Here’s how it works:
Cost
The cost will be agreed upon upfront, ensuring you have all the information needed to make an informed decision. Typically, mural prices range from £80 to £120 per square metre, depending on factors such as the complexity of the design, the surface of the wall, and travel distance. No payment is required until the design is finalized.
Information
To begin, I will need details about the size, location, and condition of the wall. The more information you can provide at this stage, the better. From there, I would love to hear about your ideas and vision for the mural. What would you like it to look and feel like? Are there specific colours, styles, or subjects you’d like to incorporate? Who is the intended audience, and is there a message you’d like to convey through the artwork? Any inspirational images you have at this stage are helpful, though not essential.
Design
Once I have an understanding of your ideas, I will incorporate my expertise to create a design that aligns with your vision. I will provide a mock-up image to show you how the design will look on your wall, giving you the opportunity to request any adjustments before the project begins.
Paint
Once the design is finalized, we can schedule a convenient time for the mural to be painted. I typically book about 4 weeks in advance, though I can be flexible depending on availability. I recommend applying a fresh coat of white or light base paint before we begin, as this helps to preserve the mural; however, this may not be necessary if the wall is already in good condition. For most murals, I use high-quality artist-grade acrylic paint, though I may use household paint for larger areas or spray paint for outdoor projects.
I bring all the necessary materials and equipment with me, so there’s nothing you need to provide. I kindly ask that the area be cleared in advance to ensure easy access to the wall.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out for a no-obligation quotation or if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Laura 🙂
